We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our expanding team. The growth of the company has led to an opening for working foreman to support the site manager and Managing Director.
The successful candidate will require relevant experience of working on projects from inception through to handover. They need to be familiar with everything from demolition stage to fit out and have the ability to manage multiple teams of sub contractors whilst possessing the confidence and ability to liaise with people at all levels. Some interaction with the client will be required.
As our projects are based throughout the UK and overseas therefore some travel away from home will be necessary.
You will be joining a highly entrepreneurial company with growth potential with opportunities to gain a wealth of experience.
Your responsibilities:

Liaising with professional staff (such as architects and surveyors) and even the public.
Organise and liaise with sub contractors with particular reference to meeting their agreed targets/programs in order to maintain the overall programme for the works.
Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings.
Supervising and organising contracted staff to ensure full utilization working towards clear objectives.
Maintaining quality control procedures
Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site meet legal safety standards.
Identifying snagging items throughout the course of a project and arrange for rectification to keep post contract snagging to a minimum.
Responsible recording contract variations and obtaining evidence of client agreement.
Responsible for monitoring and achieving project budgets.
Be a point of contact for client queries and requests at all times ensuring maximum client satisfaction.

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and experience.

experience as a site manager is essential.
Strong team leader
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build relationships at all levels.
First Aid Qualification
Clean UK Driving License
