We are working on over 30 projects in and around London and continuously require experienced Hoist Drivers in the Canary wharf area If you are looking for regular work in Canary wharf and can provide us with all the required documentation we would like to talk to you! General duties will include: * Switching on and off equipment each morning and evening. * Liaising with Contractors foreman with respect to hoisting procedure i.e. Times, zones, floors, etc. * Daily cleaning of hoist cars, goods lifts, loading dock, run-ins, ramps etc. * Carry out the daily and weekly checks and to bring to the Construction Manager's attention to any defects or other maintenance issues as they occur. * Daily cleaning of hoist cars, goods lifts, loading dock, run-ins, ramps etc. * Never leave the equipment unattended whilst switched on. * Stagger meal/tea breaks with other drivers to ensure continuous coverage with no shut-downs during working hours.
