Awaiting Eyes Foundation is a U.K registered charity (No: 1117222) that helps orphan children overseas by providing them with basic necessities.
We are looking for enthusiastic HUMAN RESOURCES (Human Resources ) ASSISTANT, Volunteer
The job will consist of:
• Hiring staff – advertising and interviewing
• Working with other managers to plan future staff needs
• Keeping acceding records
• Providing staff training and development
• Making sure staff have the right pay and benefits
• Arranging staff services such as welfare and counselling
• Dealing with complaints and discipline procedures
• Promoting equality, and health and safety
• Developing Human Resources policies and procedures
• Writing staff handbooks
• MANDATORY FUNDRAISING AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK
OFFICE WORKING TIME: 9AM TO 5PM, MONDAY TO FRIDAY.
With your skills, you can be part of an amazing team. No previous experience is required as full training would be provided.
Please note this is a voluntary / unpaid role.
Initial commitment of 3 days a week for the first two months, thereafter - 2 days a week (flexible).
In return, volunteers often gain experience of an office environment, and learn new skills or develop existing ones.
