We are seeking an enthusiastic Human Resources Officer to work in our London (Green Park, Mayfair) office, who will be given the opportunity to be involved in various day-to-day Human Resources administration duties as well as specific projects.
We are offering full-time employment for this position. This will require a good knowledge in Human Resources and the successful candidate will be working in a general and busy office environment.

What you will be doing on the job?
To maintain and update the Human Resources databases, electronic files, and employee personnel folders, archive files and other documents as required by our statutory requirements;
To ensure all starters and leavers are processed in a timely manner and to ensure right to work checks are carried out in full;
Preparing job descriptions and specifications for roles; Assessing suitability of CVs, scheduling and conducting interviews;
Setting up inductions into the business, creating contracts and starter packs for new employees;
Producing letters, chairing, and taking minutes/transcription for employee investigation/disciplinary/appeal/grievance hearings;
Screening and vetting candidates to the required BS7858 Standards - including credit checks and SIA License Checks;
Producing references for previous employees and chasing outstanding references for pending employees;
Updating the Online Rota system with new starters, current employees’ data and leaving employees;
Collating ELI TUPE data for TUPE transfers, and assisting with TUPE due diligence and consultations;
Supporting the Company with new identified Human Resources procedures, policies and projects - such as Absence Management, and Appraisals;
Producing Noticeboard Announcements on behalf of the Company;
Taking advice from and liaising with the external employment law consultants;
Handling telephone calls and queries within the department;
Attending appropriate training courses as required;
Supporting the Management Team with ad-hoc activities as and when required;
To carry out regular audits of Human Resources system and processes to ensure information is up-to-date and accurate;
Minimum Requirements
Attention to detail and organised with the ability to data analyse and report;
Previous experience of working in a Human Resources generalist role;
Educated to degree level or higher;
Ideally CIPD qualified or working towards CIPD qualification;
Self-starter who is able to operate with minimal supervision;
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal;
Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills;
Strong IT skills especially in Excel, Word, Outlook;
