This is a fantastic opportunity for a Head Chef to take the reigns in the kitchen at this already successful and well-established food pub in Stoke Newington that is owned by a small, new, independent pub company.

We always want to create menus that represent the Great British pub culture – focusing on recognizable dishes that are very fitting for the pub environment. We do not want to be a “gastro pub”; instead we want to be a pub that is dedicated to serving great – honest and unfussy – food of exceptional quality but without the all the fuss.
In this role your key focuses will be driving business through the delivery of high quality food and consistency, maintaining a healthy food General Practitioner , and leading and developing the kitchen team. You will work closely with the General Manager to produce a small and concise seasonal menu and weekly specials focused on high quality ingredients from our excellent suppliers.
This position would suit an experienced head chef with Michelin star experience wanting to move into an innovative pub company where you will have the creative freedom to work with exceptional ingredients, cook amazing food but in a casual environment. Good team leadership, attention to detail, an obsessive passion for food are all key attributes that we are looking for in this role.
The contracted hours for this role are 48 hours per week over 5 days and the pay rate will be dependent on experience with a salary of up to £50k per year.
