Megan's is an all-day dining restaurant with a Mediterranean influence. In the morning we serve breakfast's (Eggs Benedict, Avocado on Toast, granola (etc), smoothies, juices and sexy coffees. Over lunch we have chef made salads, quiches and grilled meats/fish (think Ottolenghi, Baker and Spice). Come the evening we serve our famous homemade kebabs (not like any kebab you have tried anywhere), skewers, steaks and salads. If you want a Michelin star look elsewhere; if you want great food to share with your friends and family read on.
We currently have two locations (Chelsea and Parsons Green), but are opening a third in Balham in May. This role is for the Parsons Green location.

We are currently recruiting for chefs of all levels, but the priority is to find an ambitious head chef who would like to be part of shaping the business and future food offering.

The potential candidate will have;

experience in all day dining from making homemade granola and avocado on toast through to salads and a good knowledge of meat and fish.
Good all-round kitchen skills.
Creative - we want you to help shape the food we serve so menu development and creativity essential as you will be required to run a daily specials menu.
Passion for food, ingredients and sexy display with the desire to learn and work hard.
Strong leadership skills and you will be required to recruit, train and develop your kick ass team.
Have a positive attitude, and meticulous attention to detail.
Speak a good level of English.
Good knowledge of systems, process, H and S; etc as the relevant kitchen systems need to be implemented.

Benefits we offer:

Head chef salary £40k - £48k  inc quarterly bonus (basic £32,000 - £35,000)
Performance related bonus of upto £13k a year. The bonus is paid quarterly and we always get bonus.
