We are looking for an experienced, creative and responsible Head Chef to join our dynamic team.
Blighty UK opened 4 years ago and we are famous for our delicious and generous full English breakfasts, speciality coffee and community spirit. Our second branch - Blighty India - opened in Tottenham in 2021.
This is a great opportunity for someone to express themselves creatively and to run a kitchen from top to toe.
Working alongside a dedicated team of professionals you will be responsible for all aspects of the kitchen operation including cooking, supplier relationships, training, menu development, recruitment, rotas and finances.
Key areas of responsibility:
● To support the Head of Blighty UK at all times
● To be the Head of all food operations at Blighty UK
● To build on our exciting menu that revolves around our core brunch market
● To develop our weekday lunch menu and offer your own take on our salads and sandwiches
● To serve delicious, fresh food at a consistently great level
● To help take the Blighty brand to the next level in terms of revenue received
● To get to know our customers and create a warm friendly atmosphere
● To train staff
● To keep accounts
● To deal with suppliers
● To maintain highest standards of hygiene and safety
Qualifications/Skills:
● Proven culinary experience
Job Type: Full-time
Hours: 42 per week (5 out of the 7 days)
Salary: £21-24k, depending on experience.
