We are looking for a head chef to lead the kitchen team at the popular Gallery Cafe vegan cafe and venue in the heart of vibrant Bethnal Green.
You must be keen to develop our menu and have lots of ideas, as well as a passion for vegan cooking and food. The cafe has never been so busy and we are excited to find someone to come on the journey forward! We are a lovely team to work and staff retention times are longer than average for the industry.
Essential Skills:
* experience of all aspects of legal compliance and kitchen paperwork
* experience of managing staff
* experience of writing and costing menus
* Passion for vegan food
* experience of working and managing busy services
* experience of ordering and managing stock
* experience of training chefs
* Excellent time management skills
Desirable skills:
* Working in a vegan or vegetarian kitchen
* experience of recruitment
