They require a head chef who is first and foremost a really good cook and who can manage a small team of 5 chefs over two levels Food offered is firstly a British menu with small and larger plates utilising the Josper grill and seasonality, the second is a service open planned kitchen serving Spanish/Basque style dishes and charcuterieA genuine passion for cooking all food styles is required along with work stabilityAs head chef you will co-ordinate with the group's Executive chef therefore you will be cooking to spec menus but have creativity in the specials This role would suit someone who understands that this is a wet led business with a food offering and won't suit someone coming from a fine dining restaurant background although the food is fresh and taken seriously it's not a restaurant7 shifts per week with friendly hours and working with a great team Head Chef Salary GBP35,000 plus bonus.
