Corazón, a casual, owner-operated taqueria which opened this past December in Soho, offers Mexican-inspired cuisine with a difference – a small menu, food and drink of the highest quality, and a fresh, fun spirit.
We have a happy, stable team working under Head Chef and Founder, Paul Daniel, and now require a SOUS CHEF to help lead the brigade for a big year ahead.
THE ROLE
As a chef at Corazón, you will be a leader in every aspect of managing the kitchen:
• Leading daily operation including service, ordering, hygiene, stock rotation
• Recruitment, Training and Development of more junior chefs
• Menu Research and Development
WHO WE NEED
• Our successful candidate will have at least 4 years’ experience in a professional kitchen, two in a senior capacity
• A passion for and experience with true Mexican food, or a genuine excitement to learn.
• A responsible, dependable soul who maintains a sense of calm under pressure and demonstrate a strong sense of professionalism and teamwork.
WE OFFER
• circa £31k-£34k (combination of ‘house pay’ + tronc), dependant on experience
• The chance to work offsite at a series of upcoming events

• Corazon Quarterly – all the team is invited to a breakfast session every 3 months – the founders will share the company performance and strategy moving forward
