Sous Chef - Independent Pub and Kitchen - SW London £25,000 + gratuity share We are recruiting a Sous Chef for a brand new, modern, independent pub and kitchen in Surbition, within the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames. In this kitchen, you will truly be cooking with only the freshest ingredients from top class suppliers. Whilst keeping a couple of the pub classics - often with a twist - the rest of the menu is evolving all the time and great thought goes into finding the best way of serving diners honest, fresh produce. The restaurant is a local gem attracting diners from both the local area and foodies from further afield. Sous Chef Requirements * Ideally you will be a very experienced Chef de Partie or have Sous Chef experience in a busy restaurant or gastropub with a big focus on cooking fresh food * Can build, lead and inspire a team and be creative to build this into a successful business * Have excellent knowledge of statutory food safety and health and safety regulations * Enjoys sourcing and working with seasonal produce * Work well under pressure * Possess creativity and enthusiasm The business has grown organically and in a steady pace.
