Plough Way Cafe is an independent restaurant located in Surreys Quays Area in London SE16.
We are an authentic Italian Restaurant serving 100% homemade food (Pasta, Pizza, Bread. All made in house).
We cannot stress enough that we are looking to serve Italian dishes that are interesting and reach challenging quality standards. We are looking to serve food of great integrity.
About the Role
We are looking for a high calibre Sous Chef to join and lead our team.
Skills / experience
The key requirements for the successful Sous Chef candidate:
-Driven and ambitious to deliver great results
-Well versed in Italian cuisine
-Passionate about great pizza, pasta, meat and fish dishes
-Work as team player with a can do attitude
-Well versed in UK food hygiene standards
-Help the Head chef to create an exciting weekly set lunch menu with seasonal ingredients
-Help the Head Chef to change a few dishes in the a la Carte menu every month following the season.
-Good at English and Knowledge of Italian is a plus (as the brigade will include Italian members)
With culinary flair and love for food in general
-Needs to be hands on and able to maintain a high and professional service
Salary / Benefits
We will pay a competitive salary of up to £32,000 (including service Charge) for the right candidate
