Sous Chef, The Havelock Tavern, Brook Green
The Havelock Tavern has a superb reputation for great food. As one of the original Gastro Pubs in the 90s we've carried on that reputation ever since. Now with a relatively new team we're hoping to take the pub to the next level.
An amazing opportunity for a passionate chef who loves to cook. We change our menu daily so you will have plenty of input in to the dishes you will create.
We are part of The Metropolitan pub company and one of the busiest food sites.
With our daily changing seasonal menus we require a chef who loves cooking with the best seasonal ingredients available.
We have an 80 cover dining room, with a small garden at the back of the pub. We serve the same menu throughout from 12.30 – 3 and 6.30 – 10 for 6 days a week. Sunday, we serve food throughout the day.
When it comes to our food, our suppliers are some of the best around, with many of them servicing Michelin star establishments so the successful candidate must be confident in handling and preparing fresh food, as our menu from bread to ice cream is prepared from scratch.
Ideal chef Candidates will be able to demonstrate;
• A keen and reliable attitude
• Ability to work under pressure
• Creativity and passion with new ingredients
• Knowledge and adaptability to new menus
