Lardo in Hackney is looking for a Sous chef to join our team.
Lardo is a 70 seat restaurant open all day offering Italian style dishes. We are open 7 days per week and offer brunch at the weekend.
We are ideally looking for
A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
Comfortable and confident cooking Italian food.
Be able to assist the head chef in all aspects of food production Must have a good knowledge of food hygiene and due diligence.
A passion for food and consistent execution of all dishes.
Organised and able to deliver a reliable and high standard food service.
Able to work effectively as part of a team and train junior staff.
Understanding of stock control and GPs
A great personality and presence in the kitchen.
A strong Junior Sous would be considered
