We are a new pub in Stoke Newington focusing on serving delicious high quality seasonal food and the best beer known to mankind. The Axe is a bustling pub with a steady and growing weekday trade, a brisk Saturday brunch and a very popular Sunday roast. Our menu is Modern-European with some stalwart favourite dishes and monthly changing items which reflect seasonality.
The pub is part of the Grace Land group. We are fast growing, having opened two new sites in the last 12 months, with another set to open at the start of next year. We are always on the lookout for candidates who would like to grow and develop within our group.

We are looking for an ambitious and talented Sous chef who is eager to deliver quality food within a friendly and hardworking team. You would be working closely with the Head Chef who will be transitioning to an Executive Head Chef position in the future, making this position perfect for an experienced Sous Chef preparing to take the next step.
Desirable qualities include:
