Food concept to include small plates, meze and family style dishes with a team of 10-12 chefs based on a street canteen, homely cooked style with a modern twist, fresh ingredients and quality suppliersTo be responsible for efficiently running the kitchen alongside the head chef on an organisational level with a meticulous and 'hands-on' approach. To lead and manage the kitchen team to achieve the highest standard of food in the restaurantTo be proficient on all kitchen sections and willing to teach and guide all team members through each shift. To be a strong and confident leader with a desire to teach, motivate and develop the team.Min Requirements:* At least 2 years experience as a sous chef and stable career* experience in either Bahraini, Persian, Iranian, Turkish, Lebanese or Indian cuisine* experience in volume, upscale restaurant kitchens* Excellent spoken and written English, with Arabic a plus* Excellent personal presentation* Display team leadership and responsibility* Enthusiasm and interest in food, sustainability and provenance* Working proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, inc. Word and Excel and general IT competency You must be eligible to live and work in the UK unrestricted.
