A BIT ABOUT US
David and Kaz started Grind and Co. In 2011, wanting somewhere to hang out when they weren't working - or even when they were - and could get a proper cup of coffee like in Melbourne, Kaz's home town. Grind now has 9 sites across Central and East London, each smashing out coffee, cocktails and food day to night, and last year we opened our own roastery and training lab in Shoreditch.
London Grind is a buzzing riverside espresso bar, cocktail bar and restaurant, housed in a former bank at 2 London Bridge, above Borough Market. The first Grind to offer a full restaurant, and recently extended to double it's capacity, London Grind is a discerning brunch and dinner spot for south of the river, and a favourite dinner destination for the locals. Right across the road from The Shard London Grind is always alive and full of energy, and a firm favourite for the Grind's loyal customers!
YOUR ROLE
As host you will support the Restaurant Management to ensure the smooth running of the restaurant, manage bookings, support the floor team and give customers the best possible experience. You will be responsible for supporting service and sales and be the constant face of energy and passion on the floor. If you are friendly, always smiling, able to keep calm and confident in busy situations and love the buzz of a Friday night then we want to hear from you! experience in using booking systems, handling bookings and events enquiries over the phone and in person and running a busy service are essential.
The atmosphere in Grind is fast-paced and vibrant, with strong emphasis on quality coffee, seasonal food, cocktails and always the best service.
