As a Personal Assistant/Support Worker you will be working as part of a small team of support workers, tutors and healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to develop their knowledge and understanding of autism and sensory processing challenges through training and development.
A typical shift will involve befriending i.e. Social interaction and conversation, support with writing, participating in team meetings to co-ordinate care, preparing meals, working on forwarding current projects (art exhibitions, creative writing, public speaking engagements, games design) and generally keeping the family home tidy.
Hours: Part-time, flexible and variable including some evenings and weekends.
