£12.50 Gross per hour! Fun, active and reliable Support Worker / Personal Assistant to join a wonderful care team providing support for teenager Sara!

Wage / Salary: £12.50 gross per hour
Driver required? Essential
Use of a car? On duty
Essential experience: Supporting a client with epilepsy, cerebral palsy. Confident Swimmer and non-smoker.
Desirable experience: Eye Gaze technology, Vagal Nerve Stimulation, Gastrosomy and Jejunal feeding. Training provided for all Sara’s care needs.
Start Date:  as soon as possible
Days and Hours: Mixture of shifts required, day and night shifts available. Supporting before and after school, on call nights, weekend and school holidays. Contracted hours per week / month can be arranged.

Sara 15 is a music and story fanatic who enjoys the company of her peers, spending quality time with her sister, pamper sessions or chilling out in her hydrotherapy pool or sensory garden. Sara has cerebral palsy, epilepsy, receives her nutrition and liquids via gastro-jejunal tube and requires support with all aspects of her daily life.
This fantastic position will involve supporting Sara at home and in the community with communication, accessing leisure and educational activities, implementing therapies, personal care and promoting her happiness and independence which is paramount for Sara and her family.
