What does the ROLE look like?
You will be responsible to provide a warm and courteous service when checking in guests and taking reservations at the front desk.
Ensure that all guest comments are dealt with in an effective and speedy manner in order to facilitate good guest relations.
Possess full knowledge of all our room types and the items offered in the Rooms Service menu.
Actively communicate to relevant departments regarding cleanliness and repairs in the building and bedrooms.
Ensure all charges are posted in correct way and with the correct amount to guest and meeting room accounts, prior to departure.
Understand and demonstrate correct procedures regarding the acceptance of credit cards and cash in accordance with the hotel credit policy.
Completing a full handover at the end of every shift.
What we are looking for in YOU.
You will have a genuine interest in what’s going on in and around London and Clerkenwell.
A friendly and enthusiastic self-starter with exceptional customer service skills.
Previous experience as a Receptionist within a hotel environment would be beneficial and knowledge of Protel desirable.
This is a hands on role, being organised with the ability to multi-task is a must. Flexibility to respond to a variety of work situations.
Keen eye for detail.
An effective communicator with the ability to manage relationships with both peers as well as senior management.
A team player with a cool head and ability to work collaboratively with others towards team goals.
