The London Steakhouse Company is owned by Marco Pierre White and James Robertson. Opened in 2008, the City restaurant was the first and original to bear Marco’s name, followed in 2009 by the Chelsea restaurant, bringing the capital the very best quality steaks, grilled and roast meats and fish, mouth-watering starters and a range of timeless puddings.
Reporting to our Operations and Restaurant Managers, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Head Chef to lead the team at our Chelsea restaurant. This very busy restaurant seats 55 covers, including a private dining seating up to 25 people.
The ideal candidate will come from a high quality fresh food restaurant, fine dining or steak house experience is preferred with relevant experience as a Head Chef. You will need to have good financial acumen in order to monitor your stock, have a fantastic people focus to motivate and develop your team and most of all a passion and flair with food.
Your duties will include;
• Running the kitchen, ensuring consistent and excellent food quality.
• Organising and motivating a team of up to 8.
• Meeting General Practitioner targets whilst maintaining a quality product.
• Efficient scheduling of well trained and motivated staff.
• Ability to effectively use an F and B system.
• Maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards.
• Developing new menu ideas.
• Good communication skills, strong written and spoken English.
