ABOUT THE BELL
The Bell is a busy, independent, multi award winning pub in the Lloyd park area of Walthamstow. We are a vibrant local with a great selection of real Ales and high end wines, our focus is on serving fresh seasonal British food in a family friendly environment.
THE HEAD CHEF ROLE
Duties will include but are not limited to
- Day to day operations.
- Ordering and stock control.
- Hiring, training and building a solid kitchen team.
- Complying with Health and Safety and food hygiene regulations to the highest standard.
- Controlling General Practitioner and wage costs.
- Continually developing a seasonal menu.
YOU WILL BE
- Someone with a minimum of 2 year’s experience in a similar role.
- Someone with a passion for creating fresh seasonal honest food.
- Someone who can create a positive team environment within the kitchen, and work harmoniously with the front of house and management.
- In control of the kitchen in its entirety and have freedom creating your menu within a brief.
- Able to create brilliant modern British menu with consideration to vegan and vegetarians
- Able to produce a stunning brunch, dinner and bar snacks menu.
- Able to produce an amazing Sunday Roast and manage 500 + covers.
