The client
A new opening neighbourhood kitchen, offering breakfasts, brunches and lunches. The theme is modern European and everything will be made fresh and in house.
The ideal candidate
We are looking for an experienced head chef to aid with the menu development and the overall management of the kitchen.
You will have a background in working in fresh food kitchens with excellent knowledge of seasonal ingredients.
Ideally you will have a level 3 food and hygiene qualification but at least level 2 is essential.
Responsibilities
Menu development, including costings and stock control.
Controlling and directing the food preparation process and any other relative activities. Constructing menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servings.
Full responsibility for Food and Hygiene compliance.
The details
The salary on offer is up to 35k per annum
The kitchen is open from 8am until 7pm so you will only be required to work day time hours.
