Cafe Hampstead is currently recruiting a Head Chef.
We are an independent privately owned all day kitchen bar at the bottom of Hampstead High Street in NW3. Serving a modern middle eastern menu in a light, bright, vibrant setting we proudly serve our locals from our a stunning theatre kitchen. Cafe Hampstead has been known for great fresh food, stylish drinks and friendly service across 2 floors. The opportunity has now arisen for a talented Head Chef to join our team.
You will work closely with the Operation Managers to provide excellent service and a fantastic experience for all our guests. Our food menu features a fresh modern take on middle eastern dining whilst our drink offering features well made cocktail classics alongside a rotating seasonal house cocktail list. Further from that we have a well stocked bar and a strong wine list.
The ideal person would have a high energy, friendly attitude, a strong background in hospitality and well versed in all areas of the business. The position is available immediately. We have a strong ethic on team work and enjoy delivering a good standard of service to our guests.

Your responsibilities as Restaurant Manager:

A good track record gained in kitchens serving fresh produce to a high standard.
experience of working at a similar level
experience of menu development and costing of dishes.
Ability to meet all General Practitioner targets and be financially astute.
Good communication skills
experience of recruitment, training and development.
Inspirational, positive with the ability to motivate and lead the team.
Passion about fresh food and producing food to the highest standards.
A commitment to health, safety and food hygiene standards.
experience of stock management, ordering and stock control.
The ability to work as part of the management team.
