Head Chef required for an award winning catering company based at a fantastic venue in the city.
The head Chef will have full operational control and responsibility for the running of the kitchen across events, banqueting and conferences at the venue.
Responsible for but not limited to -
• Supervision, training and recruitment of staff
• Delegation of tasks
• Ensuring smooth running of the kitchen - labelling, storage and smooth service.
• Menu planning and development
• Kitchen financials and admin - suppliers, budgets, costings, General Practitioner , orders, invoices and delivery notes.
You will have at least 2 years experience within event/venue catering or within a high end hotel banqueting environments.
Excellent team player with organisation, communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage a varied workload.
Salary - £38,000 + performance related bonus + pension
Working hours - Monday to Friday with evenings and weekends when required.
