The Role
Petersham Nurseries are looking for a creative and ambitious Commis Chef to join our brigade. We are passionate about food, sustainability all that comes with it. This role will suit a candidate with a strong background, preferably from a Michelin Star, 3 Rosette or 5 Star hotel but it is not necessary. A successful candidate should be prepared to accept the challenge to participate in one of most anticipated openings of 2022.
You will be working closely with our Executive Chef, Simon Whitley to create an inspiring and an innovative offering.
The successful candidate will be a key part of a team at the forefront of an exciting launch for this luxury lifestyle business in a prime Central London location.
The Ideal Candidate
• Previous experience at Commis level, ideally as part of the production team
• experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Natural team player with effective communication skills
• Willingness to learn and progress within the industry
• Ability to maintain and follow recipes, standards and guidelines
• Good health and safety awareness
