Market Cafe is looking for an experienced bartender/barista . We are an independent restaurant and bar, very well located on Broadway Market in East London, and have established ourselves over the last few years as a great place to eat and drink. We are open 7 days a week for lunch, brunch and dinner, serving food from 10am to 10.30pm.
You will need to demonstrate good previous experience in a similar role in a very busy, fast paced bar. We have a good cocktail list and serve great coffee, so you will need to be experienced with both. The ability to remain calm, organised and in control in a busy and high pressure environment is essential. The position is full time, usually 45 hours over 5 days, but we are happy to consider a part time weekend position for the right candidate.
