Chef de Partie, Peruvian Fine Dining Restaurant, New Opening.
We are looking for talented chefs for a new Peruvian fine dining restaurant opening soon.
Open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week the restaurant will serve cutting edge Peruvian and Latin American cuisine with contemporary Mediterranean influences. Dishes will include ceviche, tiraditos, cazuela, fresh fish and seared meats from the grill with the focus on fresh produce and innovative presentation whilst staying true to the culture and cuisine of the region. Everything is prepared in-house from scratch, so this kitchen is always busy. Standards throughout are high.
As Chef de Partie you will be expected to organise your own prep, run your section during service, supervise other staff and work elsewhere in the kitchen as directed by the Head Chef.
Required: Qualifications / Skills / experience.
Passion and enthusiasm for food and quality,
Relevant experience in a busy fresh food environment.
Up to date with modern cooking techniques.
Creative flair and attention to detail
Keen to learn
Team player with a strong work ethic
The ideal candidate will be a reliable and self-motivated professional chef with strong all-round kitchen skills and a “can do” attitude to work. Michelin star experience would be an advantage but cooking to 2 AA Rosette standard (minimum) is essential.
The Head Chef has a strong Michelin star background, leads by example and expects a lot from his team.
Previous experience of Peruvian cuisine is not essential.
Interviews will include a cooking trial
