Position: Chef de Partie
Operation: Busy Restaurant and Gastro Kitchen
Location: Nr Walthamstow E17
Salary: £10.00 p hr
Working Hrs: 5 Days / 7 Shifts

This beautiful local Pub recently extended and refurbished, situated near Walthamstow features light-airy interiors; ground floor gastro bar; a small garden and first floor event space with additional bar.
£0.1 million brand new open kitchen centred on the Robata grill (Robata and Hobart new kit throughout including Thermomix; two vat-pacs; Goodman crockery and Welch cutlery)
Rolling seasonal menus offering inspired modern British cooking including a la Carte; Sunday lunch and Bar menu (retro-style light bites and nibbles)
Forecasted weekly net sales: up to £30,000 pa (on opening)
Kitchen open from 12 noon to 9.30pm Mon to Thursday / 12 noon to 10pm Fri and Saturday / 12 noon to 8pm on Sun
Role Description
Working closely with the Head and Sous chef team, responsibilities include:
Daily smooth running of section, daily fresh food prep / mise-en-place for busy service
Involvement in daily menu planning and costings – menu input encouraged
Stock control: section orders, deliveries, maintaining min. Food wastage, helping with stock counting
Maintaining Health and Safety records on section
Excellent Chef Management training programme and progression opportunities
Desired Attributes
Enthusiastic, creative and hardworking with experience gained working at Chef de Partie level within a comparable business
Good knowledge of current food trends, passion to work with high quality, seasonal produce supported by good organisation, communication and cooking skills
Salary and Benefits
To start: £10.00 p hr (7 shifts / 5 days)
Permanent full-time contract subject to standard 3 months probationary period: regular salary reviews; excellent development and progression opportunities; workplace pension; 28 days paid annual leave; group staff discounts; FAM trips and team excursions; laundered uniform and meals on duty
Immediate start available / able to accommodate notice
