Working hrs: 5 days / 7 shifts (50 – 53 hrs)

This stunning City 3-floor Eatery and Bar with Terrace (Rosette) attracts a loyal City crowd all year round, receiving ongoing high media and press praise since opening.
The open plan dining room and bar offers a light and airy space in the Boho industrial style with food taking pride of place. With an award winning Head Chef at the helm, there’s a commitment to sourcing from South East based small artisan suppliers (also growing own produce) with menus changing daily to reflect the immediate British larder. Expect robust flavours, good technical elements and quirky touches, great flavours and presentation.
7 Day operation – busy for lunch and dinner throughout the week / year….also popular outdoor barbecue grill and pic-nic hampers in summer.
Role description
Working closely with the Head and 2-Sous chef team with good development and mentorship (big focus on progression), duties include:
Daily menu planning / menu input and ideas encouraged.
Running designated section – daily foraging, fresh food prep for busy service – assisting with daily smooth running of the kitchen (Head and Sous chef support)
Stock control: orders for section; receiving goods and storage; helping to maintain General Practitioner target / low food wastage levels.
Junior chef training and supervision; daily compliance files (H and S;, Food Handling, etc), cleaning rosters and kitchen / equipment maintenance.

Salary and benefits
Starting on £28,500 + pa (£22,500 basic plus £6,000 + tronc paid monthly)
Permanent full-time contract subject to standard 3 months probationary period incl. Regular performance related salary reviews; ongoing in-house development; courses as required; workplace pension option; 28 days paid annual leave; movement and progression within this famed independent group; FAM trips; staff discounts; meals on duty and laundered uniform.
