We are looking for a local part time carer to work with my elderly father who has a diagnosis of stroke/dementia and is partially sighted.
You will have a passion for providing high quality personal, social and domestic care that will help support and maintain his independence.
You are –
• self-motivated and proactive with good organisational skills.
• physically fit to handle transfers and help him walk.
• able to communicate clearly and respectfully with the client and family
• to ease communication, it would be desirable if you could speak either Urdu, Hindi or Punjabi.
To start immediately and work a range of shifts available during a few mornings, afternoons and evenings Monday to Sunday. Flexibility required to cover extra shifts at short notice sometimes.
Hourly rate starts at £7.20 up to £9.15 depending on experience.
