Carer ABA Tutor Required in London

Energetic and enthusiastic person wanted to join experienced ABA team  doing home education programme with 19 year old young man who has autism and learning difficulties. Thomas, who is verbal, and competent in many skills including cooking, is successfully transitioning into adulthood.
The job spans working with individual therapists in the afternoon  and then after 4.30 pm taking Thomas swimming, engaging with his peers in two clubs and attending the gym..The person doing this job will have the opportunity to learn ABA as well as being part of a multi-disciplinary team which meets once a week with its supervisor. The team set up one of the clubs- where the five members choose the activities, and there is the opportunity to work with other carers. Typical activities include cycling, swimming and the cinema. Assisting Thomas to build friendships is a primary goal of the team alongside life skills including shopping and money.
Previous people doing this job have seen it as part of their career development in special education needs. And teaching. Suit an individual who may be doing post graduate part time study in a related field.
Hours 1pm-7pm Monday to Friday.
The family have a house outside of London and would require the individual to join them there for one week at Easter and 3 weeks in August. Driving licence essential. Separate accommodation provided.
