We have an open position for a Live In Full Time Carer role in Essex where the candidate will be required to provide care and support regarding all elements of daily living such as personal care, food preparation, daily routines and ensure that the service user's medication and special needs are met.
The family would like to hire someone who is patient and reliable, and who will be able to do the duties efficiently. The working hours for this position would be a 24/5 cover from Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work on the weekends.
As a Full Time Carer, your duties will include.

Organising schedule and taking the client to appointments.
Helping with laundry and ironing
Changing bed linen and making beds
Assisting with bathing and personal grooming.
Helping the client with errands such as grocery shopping.
Getting to know the client and their interests and needs.
Giving emotional and practical support to the client.
Food preparation, feeding and giving out medication.

The family is seeking to hire a candidate who is a confident driver. They are keen to hire someone who wants to be involved in all aspects of their family life, including some travel with the family during the summer. The family wants the Carer to start on early September, but they are open for an earlier start date for the right candidate.
