We are looking for 2 or more experienced and mature female live-in carers to share the role of looking after my peaceful and friendly 84 year old father who has Alzheimer’s. We imagine a setup of 10 days off/10 days on for each carer but this is negotiable. Dementia care experience preferred but not essential. The main duties would be to prepare food, give medication, help with personal care and offer companionship. Occasional visits to General Practitioner and other local services in wheelchair by foot or short bus ride. A cleaner comes in Monday to Friday to clean and provide a break for carer. My father lives in a quiet suburb of London with good transport links to Waterloo. There are 2 bedrooms for carers to use. Family live locally. Wifi available to use at the property.
