We are looking for a new assistant manager to join our team at the Park Tavern in Southfields SW18.
This is a massively exciting time for the business as we have just relaunched our food offer, and believe it will be the best in the area. Our two new chefs, Elliot and Stu, are Michelin trained and producing some incredible dishes. We need someone passionate about the pub industry who will ensure the front of house experience is as good as the food.
There will be a real opportunity to contribute to the development of the business. We are independent and actively implement and reward good ideas from our team. In addition there is an opportunity to progress to a full managerial position within 18 months (if you are up to it!).
The ideal candidate will have experience in a managerial or team leader role at a food led site. You will also need a good sense of humour, outgoing personality, a passion for food and drink, initiative and, obviously, you must be prepared to work some evenings and weekends.
Your duties will include (working alongside our current manager)
Delivering an exceptional level of customer service
Staff training, management and motivation
Cellar management
Cash Handling
Stock Control
Ordering and Deliveries
Rota and payroll management
Health and Safety compliance
