The Herne Tavern is a classic Victorian pub tucked away on Forest Hill Road in East Dulwich, opposite the glorious green space that is Peckham Rye.
Food is a mixture of classics and modern British using fresh seasonal ingredients while drink is taken seriously with 4 cask Ales, craft and mainstream Beers, a well chosen wine list and a vast array of spirits.
We're looking for a friendly enthusiastic passionate Assistant Manager to join our team. You will have a natural hospitality and warmness as well as being a great team player with an ability to enthuse others.
The role will be to assist the Manager in the day to day running of the pub including shift running, cashing up, helping to train the team, stock management and dealing with event enquiries.
Ideally you will have experience in a similar setting and hold a personal licence although not essential. Fluent in English is a must and you must also be eligible to work in the UK.
