Lupo Bros Brunch Cafe
Our Assistant Managers contribute to Lupo Bros success by creating and delivering an amazing experience for our customers and Associates. We have a loyal local following who are super friendly and you’ll be a passionate ambassador for Lupo Bros who will live and champion our mission and values whilst embracing our unique coffee and foodie culture.
We use quality produce such as hand reared meat from Ginger Pig Butchers to artisan roasted coffee from the original local London roaster Monmouth Coffee Company.
We need someone to champion our produce to our customers and push the business forward.
Job Description
You will be required to take on responsibility for other members of the team and cafe along with the authority to instruct and discipline other team members in line with statutory and company employment policies.
Our Ideal Associate:
As a people focused leader you will support the store manager by developing and motivating your store associates to maintain highest possible standards. You’ll delegate and communicate effectively and provide coaching to enable your team to create inspiring customer moments. You will have experience of leading and motivating a team in a fast paced hospitality environment. You will be able to review the store KPIs with senior management and identify opportunities to drive the business forward. You’ll have a high level of spoken English and be available to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends.
Key objective:
Supervises and coordinates activities of front of house associates and working professionally with the kitchen team.
Greets guests in a friendly and positive manner.
Arrange parties/events for customers when enquiries are made.
React positively to customer enquiries and complaints regarding food or service.
Notifies payroll department regarding work schedules and time records.
Ensures timely service of food and drinks.
Assist management with opening and closing duties including cash out, float, management etc.
Support the management operations and decisions.
Encourage and coach Associates to develop a culture of training within the cafe to increase staff retention.
Ordering and organising stock using FIFO
On a day to day basis plan, organise and direct the work of the cafe team.
Comply with all company policies and legal requirements relating to the restaurant with special reference to health and safety.
Ensure all security measures are complied with to ensure the protection of company and guest property.
Maintain strict control of customer bills.
This list may change as the needs of the business evolve as we strive to be the best foodie cafe we can be.
