Assistant Manager
We are looking for a keen, motivated, and experienced Assistant Pub/Bar Manager in central Brighton.
The successful candidate will ensure that high standards of service, quality of food and drinks remain high at all times, ensuring the venue is running smoothly whilst keep the atmosphere just right for the time of day, looking after guests and managing staff.
Main duties of this role include assisting our General Manager in;

Management of all aspects of the daily operation of the full food and beverage operation.
Management of all staff from recruitment, training, managing performance, motivation and disciplinary.
This is a hands on role, you must LOVE being front of house, delivering the highest operational standards.  We minimise office work and maximize the customer experience.
Financial Acumen - an awareness and previous experience of the financial controls required when running a business.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety, food hygiene and licensing requirements at all times.

The Ideal Candidate will have:-
At least one years Assistant Manager experience in a pub/bar/restaurant environment.
The ability to work within set standards and processes and achieve KPI's financial and operational.
experience in driving a business's sales internally and externally.
Have a proven track record in achieving sales and quality of service targets.
Passion to exceed customer expectations
Knowledge and experience in spreadsheets, EPOS, Stock Management/ordering.
The skills to recruit, train, lead and motivate a team.
Are enthusiastic, well presented and wear a smile.
Willingness and flexibility to work shifts and weekends.  This is a permanent position.
Are currently in the UK, eligible to work in the UK.
