The Zetter Restaurant and Bar is looking for a passionate and dedicated Assistant Manager to bring it to life!
This is a role for someone who simply loves taking care of people and providing a great experience to both guests and their team.
By day The Zetter Restaurant and Bar is a members club for collaborative working – think lots of entrepreneurs, laptops and coffee! At night, The Restaurant turns into a jazzy Wine Room and Kitchen serving fine wines, craft Beers and a selection of classic cocktails. Throughout the day, our Head Chef Ben and his team also offer delicious and substantial menus for dinner, lunch, brunch and breakfast. These can be relished by guests of The Zetter Hotel or anyone else who wants to pop in and enjoy!

What does the ROLE look like?

A 12 month fixed term role.
You will aim to provide the greatest experience possible for both guests and members.
Conduct daily briefings, ensuring all team members are familiar with the running of the Restaurant and Bar.
Look after the day to day running, with support from senior management.
Consistently liaise with senior management and other departments to maintain a solid working relationship and consistently evolve the service experience for our team and guests.
Develop and train your team to ensure our guests are consistently receiving a great service experience.
Ensure all records relating to rotas, annual leave, absences and overtime are accurately maintained on Fourth Hospitality.
Have a full understanding and working knowledge of the POS billing system, FnB Shop and Open Table software.

What we are looking for in YOU.

Strong wine and cocktail knowledge and a natural flair to guide and manage an energetic and diverse team.
Exceptional customer service skills.
You will love to multi-task and as such will need to be very organised.
A confident self-starter comfortable working in a high-volume environment.
A Keen eye for detail.
A passion for the world of wine
Enjoys using own initiative and constantly moving forward.
An effective communicator with a natural ability to manage relationships with guests, team members, peers as well as senior management.
A team player with a cool head and ability to work collaboratively with others towards our goals.
Previous leadership experience within a small to medium capacity Bar, Restaurant and or Lounge.
