We an Aussie-owned brunch and specialty coffee cafe nestled in Hildreth St Market in South London.
Expanding our site into its neighbouring location we have doubled our capacity to meet demand.
With the advent of our re-opening we will be serving a selection of bold and modern Natural Wines and Craft Beers.
We serve specialty coffees roasted by The Barn and Koppi.
We are incredibly proud of what our kitchen team produces and we aim to serve the most creative, forward thinking and undeniably delicious food we possibly can. We have a focus on small independent suppliers and use only the best products.
We hope to find someone who can champion this approach to food and coffee and lead a team that creates the perfect experience for our customers. It is integral to our vision that our AM thinks on a grander scale, with a well rounded understanding of the exciting culture of food and coffee that is happening in London and abroad and has a relentless drive to harness their ambition to make everything we do at MILK and beyond the very best.
The right applicant will have a strong hospitality background and a minimum 1 year working in a similar position. Barista experienced preferred but not essential.
Responsibilities Include:
Help Oversee all aspects of daily running of café
Ensuring staff are meeting expectations and following protocol
Implementing Stations
Effective implementations and upkeep of FOH health and safety
Ordering
Implementation (assistance of) new systems
Understanding of cashing up and banking procedures
Effective communication with AM and GM
Strong recognition and alliance with MILK’S mission
Responsible for keeping a record of and controlling shift overtime and petty cash.

Position will be full time with a very competitive rate and bonuses for the right candidate.

FULL SHARE OF TIPS, ELIGIBLE FOR 10% SALARY BONUS FOR EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH. 50% FOOD DISCOUNT, £10 WEEKEND FOOD ALLOWANCE.
