Lantana is a busy independent cafe/restaurant with three central London locations. We are looking for an ambitious, career focused Assistant Manager for our recently opened site in London Bridge; an 85 seater restaurant in a beautiful Victorian building on the doorstep of London’s iconic foodie hub, Borough market.
Lantana is consistently recognised as one of the leading cafes in London and has been named by Timeout as both best cafe and one of the best places for brunch in central London. We are consistently recognised as a leader in our field of all day casual dining from our famous brunches through to evening share plates, with a menu inspired by Australia’s melting pot of culinary cultures. We also pride ourselves on serving one of the best flat whites outside of Australia. Our service style is warm and friendly but never unprofessional or casual. We trade 7 days a week from breakfast to evenings.
We are looking for an assistant manager with:

Strong team leadership skills with an ability to train and motivate staff in a culture based around teamwork rather than hierarchy;
Excellent customer service skills;
A passion and appreciation for high quality food and coffee;
An obsession with quality and process; and.
A strong work ethic and ‘can do’ personality.

This position would be an excellent stepping stone for an aspiring General Manager.
£12 Per hour with excellent working conditions - approximately 45 hours per week.
