Our Assistant Managers do much more than support their Managers. They also step up to take the lead when needed and are hands on as part of the team and indeed the wider Glendola family. If you have some experience in this area and want more of the same, then this is where you can build on your skills managing both staff and sales, delivering a unique kind of customer experience while also ensuring everything is running efficiently. The role is predominately operational, and the ideal person needs to be an inspirational leader who enjoys being on the floor and developing the team, demanding high standards of them. The successful candidate will be confident with a good hospitality background. The role involves being a true host in the bar, being able to run events in The Ballroom and The Cellar bar including weddings, conferences and parties. This role will truly develop an Assistant Managers skill level, readying them for a role as General Manager. Glendola run an 18 month Management Development Programme for all Assistant Managers which is highly respected in the industry. We develop our managers to be excellent operationally but in addition to this to be commercially minded operators; preparing you to run our businesses. Or, start up your own?!
