Our physiotherapy clinic, Physio-Medicine are looking for someone confident, enthusiastic and hard working to join our small team to assist with administrative receptionist work. The job will require the applicant to be comfortable speaking to patients and insurance company case handlers and to have competent computer skills. We are very keen to work with gap year students or part-time university students. Our office is based in Islington.
Essential Skills:
•experience of dealing with enquiries from general public, both over the telephone and via email in a professional manner.
•experience in working in professional administrative role.
•Proficiency of using MS Office package, Word, Excel and Power Point in particular.
•Accurate typing and word processing skills.
•Ability to use English correctly and to construct letters, memos and emails.
•Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

GENERAL ADMINISTRATION:
To maintain good secretarial practices within the Practice
To provide a secretarial/administrative service including filing, audio typing (word processing), faxing, photocopying, dealing with mail.
To make appointments in timely manner, adhering to Physio Medicine’s guidelines/protocols.
To act as first point of contact for telephone enquiries from patients, practitioners and external organisations. To deal with calls in a constructive and sympathetic manner.
To maintain hard and electronic filing systems to meet the needs of the practitioners and ensure effective running of the Practice.
To open and sort post and emails for the practitioners with information and documentation, where appropriate to facilitate action and distributes accordingly.
To support practitioners with filing/typing.
To order and maintain stationery stock for the Practice. To carry out end of year stock intake.
To manage daily invoicing, prepare receipts, take payments from patients after treatment and give a break down of payments that have been collected during the day to the office manager.
To monitor and maintain levels of standard forms and resources in line with corporate branding.
To arrange for general upkeep, maintenance and repair of the office environment and equipment if required.
