We are keen to find a reliable and extremely organised person to join our small and busy blinds manufacturing workshop in Herne Hill. You will have a crucial role in the business and provide excellent customer service providing a first class experience from start to finish.
experience in the solar shading/ soft furnishing industry would be an advantage but we are happy to offer training and adjustment period to the right person.
We offer aftercare and custom made blinds and curtains to the residential and commercial sector, all to high standards which we are committed to sustain and improve.
Duties will include :
-Raising invoices using XERO, chasing and receiving payments.
-Organising purchases invoices and receipts ready for VAT return, payroll.
-Dealing with customer enquiries over the phone or via email, processing new orders, keeping track of current orders with different suppliers and with own workshop production.
- Processing incoming orders and sending out sales invoices.
-Assisting in processing supplier invoices and scheduling for payment.
- Getting feedback from customers after completion.
-General duties
You must love interacting with people and buiild strong rapport with customers, be extremely organised, have a technical mind, show a professional phone and email manner , work well under pressure and keen to learn.In exchange we offer a friendly but dynamic work environment , opportunity to learn new skills and use the existing ones to make a difference, a full time permanent contract , performance/ salary review yearly , holiday pay , paid birthday leave, largely discounted products for friends and family.
Starting Salary depending on experience and skills , ranging from 18 000 to 21 000 /pa with 2 reviews in 1st year , then annually.
