Job Brief:
As an Accounts and Payroll Assistant, you will be a part of the Accounts department at in Spiral Visionary Products ltd team responsible for maintaining a well-organised and accurate Accounting function.
You will work with the accounts manager towards recording, reporting and managing company’s finances and payroll. You will also be required to provide administrative support where needed and suggest ways for improving the overall accounting process of the company.
Job Duties:
• Handling supplier invoices on a daily basis, ensuring matching to purchase orders and delivery notes. Getting approvals where needed.
• Effective credit control
• Work on various Bank reconciliations with the account manager including recording of receipts and expenses.
• Ensuring filing system is accurate and supplier invoices are filed accurately and timely.
• To work on and analyse important spreadsheets for rotas and cash flow management.
• Answering suppliers’ phone calls and resolving queries
• Reconciliation of supplier statements
• Processing data towards filing monthly intra stat reports
• Maintain Petty Cash
• Enrol new starters on payroll portal and update employee files accordingly.
• Ensure monthly hours for employees are processed correctly.
• Review employee expenses to enable reimbursements
• Work together with the manager towards reconciliations of various GL accounts as and when needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Educational Qualification Required: A degree in the relevant field/ AAT/ACCA
• Minimum experience Required: At least 1-2 years of experience in similar field would be preferred.
• Excellent communication, organisation and administrative skills with attention to detail
• Understanding of filing systems
• Good knowledge and understanding of the accounting principles, practices and regulations
• Excellent knowledge of MS office specially excel
• Efficient in analysing and manipulating data
• Strong working Knowledge of accounting software specially SAP would be a plus
Start Date: as soon as possible
Hours: 40 Hours per week / Monday to Friday (10am-6pm)
