We’re seeking an Account Manager / Customer Service Manager to join our Seedball team. Multiple award winning and working with retailers such as Kew Gardens and the National Trust, Seedball has over 200 trade accounts plus B2C listings on our website and Amazon. Our business has been built on team work, customer service, an amazing product and enjoyment of what we do. We’re looking for someone who would love to join us on this exciting business adventure, who excels at relationship building, who has had experience in account management and customer service, is very organized, can work well in a small team and who would bring drive, enthusiasm and ideas!
Responsibilities:
Responsibility for our B2B accounts
• New customer acquisition and administration (guiding new retailers from their initial enquiry through to an order and completing any necessary paperwork)
• Management and analysis of CRM database
• Order process management (ensure correct orders are received on time, invoices paid and solve any after sale issues). This will involve working closely with the operations team and accounts.
• General communications/follow ups/customer care
• No cold calling/cold emailing – all leads are gained through retailers contacting us directly or via the sales team at trade shows.
• Overall aim is to help ensure high conversion rate of enquiries to orders and 1st orders into recurring orders.
Responsibility for B2C customer service
• Respond to enquiries from B2C customers and other general enquiries
Requirements:
• experience of account management/customer service and some sales experience would be preferable.
• Able to represent the business brand so that there is a consistent feel to our clients’ perception and experience of our brand and products.
• Excellent written and spoken English, excellent IT skills, ability to work on a Mac. Gmail, experience of CRM databases
• Professional and friendly manner with clients (a people person), and able to follow our ‘house style’ and represent our product to various types of clients/customers.
• Comfortable and confident on the phone
• High level of organization, ability to spot mistakes/issues and take own initiative to solve problems and spot opportunities.
This role will also include some general office administration and answering incoming phone calls (most enquiries/orders are received over email, so the phone doesn’t ring too often!).
Salary: £24,000 per annum
Hours: 9-3pm Monday-Friday
Holiday: 24 days (plus public holidays)
