We are looking for experienced part time waiting staff for The Peasant, an award winning pub and dining room in Clerkenwell, EC1. (Just down the road from Islington Upper street)
The Peasant offers high quality British menus, using fresh seasonal ingredients, quality wines by the glass, diverse selection of draught and bottled Beers. The focus is on friendly service and creating a warm, welcoming place for local people to enjoy drinks with good food.
The ideal candidate is an all rounder with great customer service and sales skills. You will demonstrate a very relaxed, cheerful manner with customers, but understand the importance of being fast and focused and communicating well with colleagues. The ideal candidate should also live locally, speak English fluently.
We are busy and need people who can take initiative and work well as part of a team. In return we offer a thoroughly enjoyable work environment, staff meals and competitive rates of pay. The hourly wage is £9.00 - £9.50 plus per hour. Hard work is rewarded and there are excellent career prospects and pay increases for the right candidate.

We are open 7 days a week and this is a part time position (14-28 hours per week) with evenings and weekend work a large part of the job. We are closed on nearly all public holidays and we close on 24th Dec and reopen on 2nd Jan each year.
