A bit about us:

We are an online provider of accountancy and taxation solutions that cater for small businesses.
Following our successful recent beta-launch we now seek to recruit two telephone-based sales / account managers to join us as we launch formally.
This is an exciting time for us; the timing is right, marketing is in place and we’re ready to push the green button and expand.

A bit about you:

You’ll not be afraid of the phone, in fact you’ll be good on it.
You’ll have experience of working on the phone and, if in a sales capacity, be able to tell us about your successes.
Your phone voice will be clear and well spoken, people on the other end warm to you.
You’ll have goals and will be driven to earn to achieve and exceed them.
You’ll be self-motivated and resilient.
You’ll be bright. We know that these days not everyone can afford further education so whilst being degree educated is preferred, it’s by no means a prerequisite. Just show us that you have some grey-matter.
We’re a new business, so an evolving environment will not phase you, you’ll embrace it.

What you’ll be doing:

Answering calls from potential clients and calling them to respond to their online enquiries.
Using your friendly and consultative manner to gauge their requirements and providing according guidance.
Tailoring the appropriate suite of solutions to accurately match these requirements and asking for the business.
Follow-up activity where appropriate.
Accurate logging of activity on the CRM.

Your ideal background will be one of the following:

experience with either accountancy, taxation, compliance, legal or regulatory reporting would be preferred; but is not essential as training will be provided.
We would also be interested if you have a background in a technical customer services role in which you would spend time explaining the complexities of a detailed service. Perhaps you feel you’re now ready to transfer these skills to a sales role?
Perhaps you’re an experienced back-end professional looking for a career change?

What you can expect:

A basic salary of £24k p/a.
Opportunity to earn sales commissions from month 3.
Ongoing training and support from management.
Casual dress code.
Working hours of 10-6 mon-fri.
Based in the heart of trendy Crystal Palace for the first 3 months but moving to our own offices in the city thereafter.
The opportunity to grow with the business. We intend to be a team of 9-10 by the end of 2022 so you will be the first in.
