Our Clients in the London and Greater London areas of: Dagenham, Ilford, West Ferry, White Chapel, Victoria, Pimlico, Elephant and Castle, London Bridge, Ealing and Acton are looking for Part Time (P/T) qualified and experienced Mental Health Support Workers with a minimum of NVQ levels 2 in Health and Social Care Diploma or working towards to this Qualification.
Shifts Patterns and Hours to be discussed at the interview.
Essential:
• Min NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care.
• Previous experience of working with Service Users with Mental Health and Eating Disorders.
• Must have current Enhanced DBS / CRB or must be willing to do one. Current DBS/CRB is accepted.
The main duties will include:
• Answering phone calls
• Opening and closing the door to Customers.
• Health and Safety checks in the building.
• How to handle Challenging behaviour or aggression.
• Conflict resolution
• Assist with Medication Administration
• Ensuring a timely reminder for medication when due.
• Plus any other Duties that may be required.
