Support Worker - Bengali/Sylheti Speaking
38 hours per week (Full time equivalent)

If you have experience in providing high quality support to individuals on the autistic spectrum, then we want to hear from you.
We are looking for a Male Bengali Support Worker (Bengali/Sylheti speaking) to support customers with autism and complex needs in the London Boroughs of Tower Hamlets and Hackney. We would like to maintain the cultural and language requirements for our customers and their families within the vulnerable ASD Bangladeshi community. Will be required to assist with personal care, community access, shopping/finance, supporting customers to college or Day centres.
The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, physically active with a good sense of humour and able to speak fluent Bengali/Sylheti. This role would suit staff who have an understanding in Autism, able to work on your own initiative and be well motivated. The post holder will be required to work on a flexible Rota basis, from Monday-Sunday.
As a Support Worker your duties will also include, Key Working, coordinating packages of care and support for individuals. Excellent communication skills are required as you will be engaging with a wide group of stakeholders ranging from professionals to family members.
